We want your wedding to be unique so we only offer a handful of dates every year, each with exclusive use of the manor house and grounds.
Tracing its origins to the Domesday Book, the Grade 1 listed Manor House offers a unique setting for your civil ceremony. We are licensed for civil ceremonies of between 80 and 130 guests taking place in the Long Gallery or Old Library, while the 14th century Norman church provides the option of a religious service. For your reception choose the baronial Great Hall, with its sweeping staircase and minstrels’ gallery where the Prince of Wales once danced after a shooting party, We offer receptions for up to 130 guests for dining and up to 180 for an evening celebration. With exclusive use of the grounds for your wedding day, there is the option of an outdoor ceremony with views to the arboretum and parkland beyond.
The flexibility of what we offer within such a distinctive venue means that, whatever your style our wedding planners will work with you to create a memorable day.
