Carlisle Racecourse is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and can accommodate up to 600 guests at our wedding venue. Carlisle is a beautiful scene setter, with rolling Cumbrian countryside, for a real memory maker of a wedding or an incredible private party. You will receive a dedicated Wedding Planner to prepare for the big day and a team of operational and events support staff on the day itself. You won’t have to worry about a thing. Spectacular spaces and suites can accommodate small, intimate weddings or large celebrations. We can accommodate up to 400 guests for a reception and up to 280 for dinner. Our award winning chefs are able to create a menu to suit an individuals specific needs and we can tailor our packages to individual requirements.
