Chilston Park Hotel

From the minute we drove up to Chilston Park for a viewing, we knew this was a magical place to hold our wedding reception. On the day itself, every space was filled with happy guests relaxing and taking in the beauty of the place. Accommodation was utterly stunning- it felt like we were royalty for the day! The food was stunning and catered for many dietary needs across our guests. Sam and I are so grateful to have experienced the most perfect day in the perfect venue.

From the moment we walked through the door at Chilston every single member of staff has been so helpful and welcoming Despite partially gate crashing an exclusive use wedding when we unexpectedly dropped in to see if we could have a look, Tara showed us round the mews and invited us back for a proper tour later A week or so later we had a full tour and needless to say we loved it After that Mollie helped us organise and plan our day answering questions and providing details so everything would run smoothly The food was incredible and we loved the tasting On the day itself the staff were fab setting everything up I did a fair bit of DIY and they hung chair drapes and set up a hoop in aisle with faux flowers and chiffon There was a few minor hiccups from other issues including one guest inadvertently turning up to the whole day but Rachel and Matt dealt with it all so smoothly no one would have known! We truly had the best day and would do it all again in a heartbeat, the only slight downside was the mis placement of my handkerchief and apron which my husband gifted me on the morning of our wedding and had been left on our sweetheart table, but Mollie kindly replaced these items after every attempt to locate them failed Thank you all so much we can’t wait to come back and stay in the future

We can give a 100% thumbs up to our stay and to the hotel facilities. Our guests were extremely impressed with your beautiful hotel and its setting. The food was delicious, we're foodaholics and thoroughly enjoyed all the meals. Our guests did too and they asked us to let you know. Your staff are EXCELLENT. The girls were impressed with the changing room - its size and comfort We will visit again and will highly recommend to our friends.

We can both honestly say the day was perfect! All the staff were professional and so helpful, there was nothing we could fault everything was perfect. Anything we asked for was accommodated and nothing was a problem. We can't single out individuals for special thanks, as honestly everyone we spoke to was so kind. We were made to feel so special. We had an amazing day and one we will never forget! I said to Matt every anniversary we will be coming back to spend at the hotel

I can’t quite put into words just exactly how perfect our big day was here at chilston park. Not only was so beautiful and the grounds alone are Stunning but From the beginning of booking , throughout the planning to the big day we couldn’t have asked for more. To all the staff and the chefs of course food the was perfect and the chef ensures the groom got a bratwurst in the evening too which was a lovely personal touch and meant he didn’t miss out on what he wanted amongst circulating with friends and family. thank you to everyone working that day and beforehand too they are honestly A credit to chilston park. Professional friendly and made Our day completely calm and organised and we thank you all so much. We had every room booked with our family and friends and every single One of them thoroughly enjoyed the service too. So much hard work put into our day including the groomsman room and star room for our bridle party being set, carrying suits and dresses into rooms for Us and gift boxes from our cars into where they needed to go these guys went above and beyond for everyone to enjoy getting ready for the day. Our canapés, wedding breakfast and hog roast and bratwurst in the evening were all amazing and people still Comment on them a week later that they’d love a “ mini beef in Yorkshire to eat right now”. We chose our music for the ceremony but the team at chilston played it in the correct order for service which I’m so Grateful for so one of guests didn’t have that pressure. They went out their way to ensure we had everything we needed throughout the whole day. Im especially grateful for the calmness and detail for me and the bridesmaids advised how to walk down the aisle without being too emotional “ in through The mouth out through the nose” hehe thank you Deb. Everything was set just as we’d had In mind eg our sweet wheel, our flip Flop box, our favours…. everything! The wedding fairs helped us to book in various suppliers recommended And rightly so as these were all companies that made The day what it was. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all that you had done to help this wedding come to life. And the team who were absolutely brilliant from when we arrived Thursday night to the day itself, on Friday, they were all so attentive, and nothing seemed too much to ask. Special thanks to Matt and Lewis, who made sure everything ran so smoothly! The venue were so flexible. The weather wasn’t looking great and I’m sure if I was anywhere else they would have pushed for me to go with my wet weather option, however Paul knew how much I wanted to get married outside and made sure this happened…as soon as it stopped raining it was all hands on deck to put the chairs just minutes before the ceremony and providing everyone with umbrellas! It really was the picture-perfect wedding I had imagined. Thank you
