What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Just be yourselves, too many couples worry about what everyone else will say or think. Make your wedding about you as a couple, what you love and your journey together.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I think my favourite was Roald Dhal books as table centres with a scene from that book played out in lego. It was so different and unique to that couple.
Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.
Beautiful, Unique, Elegant, Magnificent and warm
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have so many as we have a beautiful golf course as our backdrop, I would probably say by the 18th green when the sun is setting.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We do get a few ex footballers turn up at our golf events but none at weddings as yet.
What’s your favourite canapé?
I personally love modern canapes so anything like mini slider burgers, chicken goujon strips with an assortment of dips.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Thats a difficult one I love a slice of wedding cake with a glass bottle coke!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
We are a part listed building dating back to 1897 so I love the traditional stonework of the building which makes for a lovely backdrop for photographs.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
I think the flexibility we can offer, from room layouts to catering options everything can be done on a bespoke basis for each couple.
