Craigie has versatility for large marquee weddings or smaller in-house weddings. Guests can decide to stay one night or make a 2 night family & friends get together part of the wedding celebration. Weddings up to 150 guests take place in our custom built marquee within the private grounds. The marquee comes complete all ready for your florist to add your final flourish and table centres, or become creative like many of our brides and add unique personal touches. The loos for the marquee have been specially designed and built. In addition to luxurious ladies and gents there is one fully accessible for any less able guests. Simple weddings without accommodation take place with arrival for florists, etc at 10.00 am and carriages arranged for 12.00 midnight and day use of the Bridal Suite is included. Accommodation can be added over 1 or 2 nights for up to 28 guests. Our feedback from couples is that they love being able to retreat to the big house after the celebrations are over and sit down for a last night cap with their family and friends who are staying and chat about their day. Intimate wedding weekends for up to 28 guests staying 2 nights are hosted within our beautiful Scottish country house and include a 4 course celebration meal from our Menu suggestions. Canapes, menus & drinks options can all be chosen from our helpful lists and dining can be formatted whether formal or a more relaxed family style is preferred. Wedding Ceremonies in Scotland can legally take place anywhere conducted by either a minister of religion or humanist celebrant! At Craigie this means outdoors in the garden or marquee and in-house or outdoor for Intimate weddings and there is no extra charge to get married at Craigie. To celebrate a marriage with a Civil Ceremony couples should contact our local authority for guidance. The team at Craigie loves being involved with the creative ideas that couples have to ensure their wedding day is a unique and happy celebration.
