Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

All of them! Every wedding is special and unique which makes it the best wedding.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Always remember to include yourself in your numbers and add a name box on your menu preorder cards.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

One wedding with over 150 guests used corks as place-card holders and they wrote dates on each and every one, which were special to that particular guest; for example, the day they got married or the date their child was born. It must have taken them such a long time to do, but all the guests loved it!

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Picturesque Huge (but intimate at the same time) Reliable Trustworthy Romantic

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

The view point next to the Brae and Corrie Cottages - it offers a panoramic view across the Strathearn Valley, it always manages to take my breath away!

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Elvis...the French Bulldog was the guest most treated like a celebrity, thankfully he didn't have many diva-like demands!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Anything sweet!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Randomly, beans on toast...

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The Team; they are so hardworking, dedicated and make every Bride and Groom's dreams come true.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Our history, over 150 years in the making!
