Rising majestically from its cliff-top location looking out towards the Isle of Arran, Culzean Castle is surrounded by 240 hectares of beautiful Scottish countryside, tranquil gardens and sandy bays.
Designed by Robert Adam in the 18th century, the elegant state rooms, exquisite Georgian interiors and enchanting terraced gardens combine to make this an idyllic venue for fairy-tale weddings.
Within the castle, civil, religious and humanist ceremonies can be held on the Oval Staircase, with its soaring colonnades and grand oil paintings; in the exquisite Round Drawing Room, with its wonderful views across to the Isle of Arran; or, for intimate celebrations, in the historic Eisenhower Apartment. Following dinner in the elegant State Dining Room, guests can gather in the castle's Georgian Kitchen for ceilidhs and dancing. Culzean's beautiful gardens are perfect for summer weddings, drinks receptions and photography, and the Eisenhower Apartment provides luxurious accommodation for up to 12 guests.
Within the estate there are also five beautifully appointed self-catering cottages, comprising Ardlochan Lodge, Brewhouse Flat, Royal Artillery Cottage, North Segganwell and South Segganwell. Each cottage can sleep up to four guests and can be hired for a week or a short break.
