Full Description
Beguiling, Bespoke, Boutique - is our motto at Dorfold Hall. And so we aim to offer luxurious exclusivity, grandeur and style with all aspects being tailor-made to each couple's vision of their day. If you love history: the Hall was designed for King James the first to visit and the Drawing room ceiling was crafted by Venetian plasterers in 1621. But fear not, if you love your creature comforts, and despite being 400 years old we hope to create the perfect balance between the historical and the contemporary. If you love trees and gardens: the Spanish chestnut near the Coach House is over a 1000 years old. You can get married beneath it. The gardens flower from April until October each week another area becomes the highlight of ever-changing colours and textures. Our newly renovated Coach House carries all the character of a 200 year old building, but is also elegant and incredibly convivial - with white-washed walls, Oak beams and a very large wood-burner it has that "je ne sais quoi" which I call panache. If you like to feel that you are free to choose your suppliers: we have our own bar and offer a choice of three caterers (+ an Asian and Kosher caterer) for you to choose from, but apart from this you hold the key to every element of your wedding vision - unconstrained. Perhaps because the Hall is a family home the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and invites you and your guests to completely relax and revel in its magic.
