Hilltop Country House is a beautiful and unique venue, with a serene setting like no where else. Admits open fields and well-maintained gardens, abundant with flowers for all seasons, stands a 17th century house bursting with character, and a contemporary marquee idyllic for your wedding. We are proud winners of The Best Venue in Cheshire 2022 as voted by our wonderful couples, families and guests at the North West Wedding Awards. Our wonderful team, including in-house wedding coordinator, chef and director of music, will work closely with you to ensure we translate your ideas into a seamless realization of your perfect day. The close relationship that we form with all our couples allows you to relax and enjoy the entire process - without having to think about a thing. We have four gorgeous ceremony options to suit all weddings. Whether within the billiard room, marquee, on the terrace or top lawn, all ceremony areas overlook the wonderful gardens and create the perfect setting to say your vows. Our marquee is fitted with glass bi-fold doors, bar and nightclub. Along with the outdoor bar with built in pizza oven and BBQ, Hilltop Country House has so much to offer for your special day. On-site we have four modern bedrooms, all en-suite with fabulous views. The bridal suite is not only the perfect space to spend your time after the best day of your lives, but ideal to enjoy the morning being pampered and prepped. Additionally, we also have a good number of rooms available at a newly built spa and hotel, just 5 minutes down the road from Hilltop Country House. All of this is exclusively yours!

A perfect day
Now we’re back to reality, we wanted to take the time to pass on our gratitude to you and all the team at Hilltop. From the moment Olivia showed us round, we knew that Hilltop was perfect for us - the garden room is simply stunning! Every member of the team that we’ve dealt with, has been nothing but friendly and polite. All of our ideas were met with enthusiasm and all the finishing touches and little suggestions along the way, helped form what really was a perfect day.

A perfect day!
From the first viewing to the wedding day itself, every person who was involved with us showed the upmost care and dedication to making our wedding day perfect. Nothing was too much to ask and they welcomed all of our ideas, offering suggestions as to how we could incorporate little touches throughout the day to reflect our personalities. The organisation of the day was seamless, the staff were attentive and the food was incredible. So many of our guests commented on how delicious it was! The cocktails also went down an absolute storm, with guests very impressed at the range and quality on offer. Even though we married in February, the grounds were beautifully maintained and formed a perfect backdrop from the Garden Room. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anymore and we’re so pleased that we chose Hilltop as the backdrop to our wedding day.

Absolutely sensational!
From the moment we set eyes on Hilltop we knew this was the venue for us! Clare was absolutely amazing in every aspect and could not do more to make us feel welcome, safe and comfortable - as couldn’t all the staff on the day, the service provided was world class and faultless - special mention to Cameron (bar manager) who overseen the whole evening. After rolling with our unconventional and informal ideas we was made to feel as though nothing was out of reach and this really added to our special day - it truly was one to remember and all our guests are still beaming as the novelty hasn’t worn off yet. We took full advantage of all the services Hilltop have to offer, from accommodation (spotless and real sense of home comfort), catering - pizza and curry followed by crisp butties (deliciously yummy), to the residential DJ and master of ceremony's Emil, who again, any request or idea we had was just made to happen so effortlessly. Would and will most definitely be recommending Hilltop to anyone who dares to listen to me blabbing about our wedding😁❤️

The day was exactly as we envisioned it to be.
From the moment I picked up the phone to the venue last year I knew this was going to turn into something special. The day was exactly as we envisioned it to be. From start to finish Clare made the planning and organising of our wedding day easy and relaxed. Her extremely kind and calm nature meant we could steer clear of any panic or worry, and I’m so grateful for that. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The day itself ran like clockwork and we felt like guests rather than hosts...

We can’t thank you enough for giving us the best day of our lives! Each and every member of your team looked after us so well. The food was fantastic, service was amazing and Cam certainly made sure all the drinks were flowing! From beginning to end we felt at home and relaxed at hilltop. We felt instantly at home at Hilltop
Thank you all so much for giving us the best wedding day. We fell instantly at home at Hilltop and the door was always open (with a cup of tea!) whenever we needed. This made the planning process so easy and stress free. On the day you all worked tirelessly to ensure all our ideas came to life - including pass the parcel and 120 baby Guinness shots for toasts! And weren't phased at all by last minute changes (one guest broke their arm!). The food, music and drinks were all amazing!
