Set amidst the tranquil splendour of the North Wessex Downs, Esseborne is the perfect venue for weddings with its intimate atmosphere, picturesque garden, luxurious bedrooms and a variety of elegant public rooms. Civil ceremonies and receptions for up to 80 guests can be held in the elegant Tapestry Room while larger receptions can be held in a Marquee on the lawn. Evening parties for up to 120 guests can be held in the hotel. We offer you exclusive use of our hotel at no extra cost if your guests take a number of our bedrooms, thereby providing you, whatever the weather, with an exclusive and intimate venue for your very special day. Esseborne is a family run hotel and we take pride in arranging all weddings to your exact requirements. We will be available and at your service from the day you book your wedding, all through the planning stage, and on the day will ensure your DREAM wedding. We would be happy to show you around our hotel and gardens at your convenience.

Amazing Wedding Venue
After a few visits to this hotel last year, we booked it for our wedding on 22nd May. We had friends and family staying over at the hotel, so were able to book the whole hotel for exclusive use - definitely a plus! The management and staff were excellent and looked after us and our guests - we couldn't fault them. I am amazed at how reasonable their wedding rates are compared to other hotels in Hampshire and to be able to have this wonderful country house to ourselves for the day/night was very special. Mark was so helpful as our point of contact and followed my instructions for the day to the letter. We were blessed with wonderful weather which helped us to enjoy the beautiful grounds of the hotel and there was plenty of seating outside to accommodate our guests for a glass of prosecco after the ceremony. We had a relatively small number of guests - 35 - and enjoyed the intimate setting of the Tapestry room for the ceremony. The hotel did an amazing job of transforming this room for the wedding breakfast while we were outside having the photographs taken and enjoying the sunshine. Everyone said that the hotel was a perfect setting for the wedding and those guests that stayed were more than happy with their accommodation. The wedding breakfast itself was delicious and, as we had given a list of menu choices and requests to the hotel beforehand, everyone was served the right dishes without any fuss. As we had exclusive use of the hotel, we were able to set up a sound system for the evening and a small dance floor was available in the Tapestry Room. As the bride and groom, we had the Honeymoon Suite as part of the package and the jacuzzi bath in this suite is wonderful - big enough for four - but ideal for two! All in all, we couldn't fault the hotel and some of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they had been to! I can't recommend this place enough and I know that we will be returning to visit again in the near future - for food definitely (their tasting menu is divine!) and hopefully to stay again one day.
