Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We had a wedding a couple of years ago and a very special guest attended. Billy Ocean was the brides cousin and he sang a couple of songs after the wedding breakfast including Caribbean Queen. All the guests and staff were very excited, it was a fabulous wedding.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
#1 When you first visit the venue, you will know if its the one to book. #2Have a list of questions and take this with you to each venue you visit as its hard to remember them individually, especially if you are planning to visit more than three places. #3Think about your guests - check minimum and maximum numbers? #4Ask about accommodation and costs? #5Ask if VAT is included on all the prices quoted? #6Ask if the venue is children and pet friendly? #7Does the venue offer exclusive use and if not how will this effect your day? #8Meet the Wedding Specialist as its important to start a good relationship as he/she will be helping to plan your day. #9Is the venue you choose flexible? Make sure you get the feeling from them that they will go out of their way to make your day special. Don't just look at the price!
