BIG GATHERINGS can eat dance and party in our spectacular pavilion, while small parties can and do enjoy being inside the historic castle. Fingask is in a private glen, happily situated in the heart of Scotland, 5 minutes off the A90 dual carriageway, half way between Perth & Dundee, an hour from Edinburgh, and Glasgow, and a tad more from Aberdeen and Inverness - 20 minutes drive from Dundee airport.

TLDR: You should absolutely choose Fingask for your wedding!
From the minute we came round the corner at the top of the driveway, and saw the amazing views the grounds had to offer – we knew Fingask was our venue. The castle itself is straight out of a romance novel, the unique grounds (Scotland’s only surrealist garden!) are incredible and a host to some excellent photo spots, and the view across the silvery Tay is stunning even in dreich weather! The Long Gallery, where we held our ceremony, has a simple, beautiful elegance, which is in contrast to the quirkiness of the ground floor of the castle, where we held our drinks reception - our guests loved being able to relax and mingle in the library and the drawing room, and explore all the knick-knacks on display! We then crossed the gorgeous grounds to the pavilion, where we held our reception. This is a great, flexible space, and had plenty of room for us (for reference, we had 110 guests), to have our tables set up separately from the dance floor. It even has an additional space (the Amber Room) with comfy sofas for people who wanted a quieter place to sit – and for any additional activities, like a sweetie cart and board games! We were also obsessed with the toilets – they were just as aesthetically pleasing as the rest of the venue! The pavilion also has a well stocked bar, with a variety of drinks to cater to everyone’s needs (including non-alcoholic cocktails, which were very popular!). We also booked out all the accommodation onsite for members of our wedding party. This comes very recommended, as it means you can have a much more relaxed few days around the wedding. The cottages were cosy and spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a basket of firewood awaiting our arrival! Then finally – we couldn’t leave this review without talking about the team of people that make it all possible. From Ross the events manager; to Cairo the wedding coordinator, and her team; Arlene who takes care of the cottages; and even Andrew the owner: everyone is friendly, responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly care about making sure the weddings at Fingask are the best they can possibly be. We felt so looked after throughout the whole process, and we would 1000% recommend Fingask as a venue! We loved it, our guests loved it, and we look forward to going back to visit on holiday!
