Glebe House offers a picturesque setting with 5 acres of sublime countryside with 7 luxury holiday cottages to accommodate 36 people. Every wedding includes 3 days exclusive use of our beautiful site.

Price includes full exclusive use of site for 3 days, 24hour access to our wedding co-ordinator and any time required to work with any wedding suppliers you have chosen. You are also welcome to view the venue as many times as you need with family, friends or suppliers, including use of the venue for an engagement photo-shoot. You would also have use of our tables, chairs and smaller marquees. We also offer free camping and overnight parking for your guests, but please note that this price does not include accommodation for your guests in our cottages, which would be required, prices vary depending on time of year.

Each wedding we host at Glebe House has been carefully planned and tailored to each couples needs and dreams. Our beautiful outdoor venue with 5 acres of stunning countryside is the perfect place to celebrate your big day. Whether you are looking for a traditional formal wedding with a marquee and a sit down meal in the idyllic setting of the stunning Devon countryside or you are looking for a more festival / rustic option with perhaps a bouncy castle or an idea that's out of this world we can help make your plans a reality. We are a small family business and we really like to get to know the couples marrying here so we can help create their perfect day. All weddings includes 3 days of exclusive use of our site, giving you plenty of time to celebrate and enjoy your big event. With our 7 cottages on site, you not only offer your guests a fantastic celebration but a mini break with full use of a heated swimming pool, tennis courts, games room, bar and of course our stunning gardens. We would love to discuss you wedding plans in detail with you and show you what potential your big day has at Glebe House.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

We have only recently been given permission to host weddings, but it's been a dream that we've had for years, we are so excited and cannot wait to get started. We have years worth of experience hosting plenty of big parties and events. We take great care planning and organising each wedding, it's our reputation on the line, so we will move heaven and earth to ensure your big day is well planned and carried out to make everlasting memories.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Have fun in the planning stage. It's a huge event in your life and you are planning a fantastic celebration.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

It's always nice to see family photos, when the couple were kids, when they first met and during special moments and celebrations.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Wow, that's difficult as there are so many! Looking across the main formal garden over the ornamental pond with the rectory as the backdrop. Walking into the woodlands. A family shot with the stunning countryside views in the background.

Mini Beef Wellingtons.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Our gardens, many of our guests love walking through the many sections and exploring the flowers and pretty gardens available.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

I love showing couples around our beautiful grounds and gardens. It has taken years of planning to get this far and we are so excited to now discuss how all the different features and facilities here can be used to help create the wedding that couples dream of.
