The splendour of the country house and its surrounding beauty is an amazing backdrop for all weddings. Relax on the lawns in the Summer beneath the spectacular 300 year old Cedar of Lebanon and sip Champagne in the Mediterranean courtyard. In the Winter cosy log fires and candle lit rooms radiate intimate warmth with seasonal decorations creating a magical atmosphere. A real home from home with staff dedicated to making every moment special and unforgettable. Glewstone Court is licensed for civil ceremonies and offers bespoke wedding packages as no two weddings are the same. Each menu is individually tailored to suit the couple, crafting an indulgent wedding breakfast in the award-winning restaurant, where the food is locally sourced, prepared and presented to the incredibly high standard that Glewstone is renowned for. Whether you are planning an intimate wedding ceremony, or a large wedding reception or wish to arrange for a marquee on the lawns, Events Manager Amy is on hand throughout the entire process to help create and plan the perfect country house wedding, bringing everything together on the day to create a truly memorable event.

A magical Winter wedding in December - candles, fairy lights, garlands, sparkling Christmas trees, the smell of mulled wine, open fires, a wonderful atmosphere and everyone having a fabulous day/evening - truly happy guests!

Enjoy every second of the whole experience, make sure it is a fun time not a stressful time! On your wedding day soak up all the love, joy and happiness and make sure you get a moment for yourselves to feel all the emotion of the day together.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A small picture of the brides grandparents (who had sadly passed) hanging from her bouquet so they were still able to be with her on her special day.
