The joy of a wedding at Hafton is that you can tailor-make the occasion to suit yourself, plan the whole wedding to suit your tastes and your budget.
Rental rates are very reasonable and you can extend the occasion and enjoy the company of your friends and family beyond the day itself and stay for a few days or even a week. The Castle can accommodate 42 persons in 19 en-suite rooms.
The hire charge for the castle represents very good value for money, and for the price paid to hire some marquees you can accommodate your guests for a week.
Charges range form £5,515 per week depending on the time of year. Rates are also available for fewer days than a week.
Hafton Castle is a magnificent building located in Hunter's Quay just outside Dunoon with views across Holy Loch. The Castle is set in its own delightful gardens and has a large heated indoor swimming pool. (Please note that the price quoted does not include the heating and use of the pool - there is an additional charge of £500 per week for this)
There is a large reception hall with a grand piano and views through to the sweeping staircase, a perfect room for a wedding ceremony. In addition there is a dining room and large drawing room with bar area opening into the small drawing room making a beautiful room for your wedding.
The library, snooker room, zodiac room, spacious conservatory and superb indoor heated swimming pool complete the Castle. There is plenty of outdoor space with a terrace, delightful gardens and superb views across the loch.
We leave the catering and wedding arrangements to you, although we are very happy to recommend caterers, florists, musicians and other local suppliers.
The castle is very accessible and can be reached from Glasgow Airport in approximately 45 minutes by car. Guests usually arrive via the ferry which departs from Gourock and crossed the Firth of Clyde, a very romantic and atmospheric start to a Wedding Party.
