Hampton Court Palace, is most famous for it's Tudor history and it's famous royal residents such as Henry VIII, William III and Mary II. It has even hosted the plays of William Shakespeare.
Couples can choose between a number of venues within the Palace state apartments and grounds to suit their celebration and guest numbers.
Our most intimate venue: Little Banqueting House, is based within the Palace grounds. It is one of the most picturesque spaces and is ideal for intimate celebrations and civil ceremonies for up to 50 people. It can also be used alongside the Garden Room for larger receptions.
The Garden Room is light, airy and spacious - with glass doors opening out onto the private walled garden. Large enough to seat 180 guests, it is licensed for outdoor ceremonies and is able to host Mandaps and Asian weddings. There are options for a variety of entertainments, live bands and dancing. It also can be used in conjunction with our other venues, such as the Little Banqueting House or the State Apartments.
Within the palace itself there are a number of stunning spaces to use, including The Great Hall. Originally designed for Henry VIII, it was the last medieval great hall to be constructed for the English monarchy. Prior to dining guests have a choice of reception venues or can even utilise the beautiful privy gardens and orangery. The Great hall can accommodate up to 220 guests, and is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 200 guests. Celebrations can down the undercroft. This atmospheric space was originally the beer cellar of Henry VIII and is perfect for serving cocktails and dancing late into evening.
