Hedingham Castle

Aside from the obvious beauty and character of the venue I would like to highlight what made our day perfect at Hedingham. If you choose the castle option, you are in the castle for the ceremony, dinner and reception. All guests will be on one floor at a time which really contributes to the atmosphere of day. The caterers Hedingham chose to use are brilliant, each dish looked as good as the day we went for the tasting. The staff went above and beyond, and are not pushy when it comes to sales, we were given information only when we asked for it. The cost might surprise you as it was very affordable for what you get - a castle to marry in! Special thanks must be noted for Sarah who completed all the planning and was always available to answer a question. On the day Coral helped the bridal party with every aspect of the morning get ready and this was very much needed and appreciated. The driver in the morning for her patience and wonderful manner. And of course Debbie and all the team back at the castle making the show go off without a hitch. So yes thank you Castle Hedingham for making our day perfect and memorable.

It's difficult to find the words to describe this venue, because it is so utterly gorgeous and full of history. We had our entire wedding in the castle itself, and so many of our guests have said it was the nicest wedding they've ever been to! The entire team are amazing, from answering all our questions (no matter how big or small) to making sure I was eating in the morning during all the bridal prep. They are a well oiled machine, we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day and we will never be able to thank them enough for all that they did.

Alfie & I got married on 16th December 2023 and it was the most perfect day. We honestly couldn't thank Jackie and the team enough. From the planning process, no question was silly and it was such a supportive process. We planned the whole wedding from our home in Dubai, so Sarah, Amanda and the team accommodated us by zooming at strange times due to the time difference. On the day, Jackie was our wedding coordinator and she was just fabulous. She completely got us as a couple and made decisions that we didn't even know would be possible (in the best way). Everyone was in awe at how beautiful the venue is and how the wedding just went so well without a hitch. We will always be so grateful to you all. Love Sarah & Alfie

Hedingham is a truly magical venue for a wedding. The convenience of having ceremony, reception and some accomodation all on one site is fantastic. The team at Hedingham were all professional, friendly and had an amazing calming effect on the day. My coordinator on the day was Jacki, who went above and beyond, as did Amanda Beecroft who was the coordinator leading up to the day. Both were fantastic, kept me on my toes in the three months before the wedding so that in the immediate lead up and on the day it was stress free and all came together with perfection! Thanks team.

We would like to thank all of the staff at Hedingham Castle for making our wedding day so perfect - Nothing was too much trouble to help us (including finding shoes for the page boy! 😅) Jackie was amazing, she made sure every single detail was covered on the day and it ran without a hitch! My husband and I recently had our wedding at Hedingham and from start to finish, every person we spoke to were wonderful. The wedding showcase was so informative, the planning process was seamless, with a dedicated team to answer our questions and guide us through each step. Even though by the time of the wedding we had visited a number of times, we were still in awe with how beautiful the castle looked. I have had so many guests compliment the venue and staff, with quite a few saying it was the best wedding they’ve been to (and that was purely because of the castle and how the entire wedding was organised!). Every single staff member made so much effort with not just the larger details, but with the smaller ones as well (making me a cuppa, the bar staff learning us names etc). I highly recommend Hedingham as a wedding venue, and I really hope I get to go back as a wedding guest one day (which seems likely from what some of my guests have said).
