A secluded setting within 5 acres of beautiful gardens, including a walled garden with 17th century summerhouse, surrounded by 180 acres of private estate parkland and woodland, and with uninterrupted views of the Malvern Hills. We offer couples exclusive use of all our main reception rooms, accommodation and gardens for the days surrounding their wedding, and encourage them to use Homme as theirs. Couples are welcome to start setting up from 9am the day before their wedding and checkout is not until 12.30pm on the day after their wedding so the weekend celebrations are relaxed. Homme is licensed for both indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies and for church weddings St. Bartholomew’s lies on the edge of the Estate at the end of the parkland drive. We can accommodate up to 90 for a wedding breakfast in the house or up to 140 in a lawn marquee, with a maximum of 140 guests at the evening celebrations. We are happy to provide recommendations on potential suppliers but do not prescribe exclusive partners. We do not charge suppliers commission. Couples are welcome to provide their own drinks for the entire wedding and we do not charge any corkage. We hope couples will enjoy the flexibility Homme offers in allowing them to plan the wedding day they have always dreamed of.
Personal Message from the Manager
Name of Wedding Contact: Charlie
The Homme House family tree stretches back to the 16th century and the estate is still lived in and run by our family. We hope that Homme has the warm feel of a family home rather than that of a commercial wedding venue. We have been a wedding venue since 2004 and we were married here ourselves in 2009 so have experienced weddings from both sides! From your first viewing, through the planning process and on the wedding day itself, we are always here to ensure all your plans go smoothly.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Every wedding is unique and special, so you might detect a hint of bias in our answer: our own! We got married at the local church and held our reception here at Homme in 2009. The best wedding ever!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
To make sure that you enjoy it. It is such a special period, so consider listing all the planning tasks out at the outset, and order them into different months, hopefully allowing you then to relax and make the most of each element of the planning without feeling overwhelmed.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A very talented guest of the bride and groom sketched portraits of each and every guest at their wedding for the table place names. A very generous and herculean effort.
Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.
Beautiful, Homely, Flexible, Elegant, Relaxed
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
That's a tough question - there are so many, with the best changing through the seasons, from the bluebells in the woods above the main lawn, to the glorious wisteria, borders, rose garden, parkland meadow grass, wild flower meadow in the walled garden and autumn colour on the apple espalier... the list goes on!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Mackenzie Crook was a guest at a wedding here. His next stop was the Caribbean for the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Anything with scallops!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Sparklers in front of the house to complete the celebrations.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
We have a beautiful 17th century gothic Summerhouse in our walled garden, licensed for civil ceremonies and a gorgeous spot for photographs.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our flexibility. We feel very strongly that couples should be able to realise their vision for their wedding day, and do our best to support them with no restrictive, preferred catering arrangements, no corkage charges, a flexible approach to the guest rooms available on the Estate (all in the gift of the bride and groom, with no obligation to use them) and as much support and help in the build up to and on the day as they need.
