Full Description
  • Whether for an intimate wedding of 40-50 family and close friends or for larger gatherings of up to 120 guests, Kedleston Hall is one of the finest Uk wedding locations. It is able to elegantly hold both civil ceremonies and civil partnerships. Approached through the breath-taking Marble Hall, an impressive aisle awaits a Brides’ dream moment as she enters The Saloon. This stunning setting is perfect for your ceremony, with its beautiful domed ceilings, Italianate decorations and paintings of roman ruins. Conducted in front of an impressive outlook onto stunning rolling countryside, the ceremony has a traditional and simple layout, surrounded by exquisite gilt trimmings, Ionic door frames, a fine collection of artwork and stunning antique furniture. It genuinely creates an unforgettable location for your special day. During the ceremony (which lasts for approximately 30 minutes dependent on the format, readings and music) we will then invite you to use either the Library or the Dressing Room for a private legal signing of the register. Exposing you to more breath taking surroundings, this is a great vantage point for your photographer to capture the perfect but intimate moments. Leading out onto the South Lawns, you’re celebrations can continue with a drinks reception and lawn games. You will find an endless array of different backdrops in which to be photographed within this venue. A mixture of rustic charm with a contemporary elegance will give your photographer ample locations to suit your personality and style in which to capture those magical moments. If ‘in doors’ isn’t for you, then you are able to make the most of the venue as a whole and can choose one of six stunning areas for the positioning of a Marquee or Tipis. You can easily enjoy the incredible views of Adam’s Bridge overlooking the hall whilst dancing the night away or enjoy the back vista whilst sipping champagne in the summer house. It’s up to you?
