Personal Message from the Manager
Name of Wedding Contact: Rebecca Rose
Hello! Thanks for looking at our venue! We are a little bit different to most venues, being privately owned - Unlike most venues you have the same Wedding Planner from your initial inquiry right through to the big day! We get to know each other really well in the planning process which means on the day you have a friendly face reassuring you that all is in hand! Just give me a call on 01298 23002

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
There are so many! I love all the ones that are a bit different! We had a couple who loved Jurassic Park so they had their table names named after dinosaurs and a Wedding Cake with baby Dinosaurs on! We also had a wedding that hired a bucking bronco for the lawns and watching the Bride ride that was so funny! We also had a couple who had a "first bounce" rather than a first dance as they had a bouncy castle and bounced to music!!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
I would say the two most important factors are getting the right venue for you and the right photographer! Don't be afraid to ask for things that are not in the typical brochure, any good wedding planner will go that extra mile to make the day yours!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I love it when couples arrange for small touches to make their guests enjoy the day more, one example is putting pumps or flip flops by the dance floor for ladies to claim! It means even when their feet start to ache in heels they can pop on some flats and carry on dancing! Also some Brides have made little boxes of "essentials" to put in the toilets that include things like hair spray, deodorant, plasters, paracetamol etc!
Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.
Welcoming Different Enthusiastic Experienced Caring
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
My favorite is under the large tree in the grounds - You can actually sit up in the tree on the bowed branch!
What’s your favourite canapé?
My favourite is either the mini cheese and chorizo pizza bites or the parfait with caramelized onion....YUM!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Cannot beat Hog Roast and Fries or Pizza and Fries!!!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The Conservatory is stunning for ceremonies and afternoon Wedding Breakfasts
What part of your business are you most proud of?
It is family owned which gives me the freedom to match most couples requirements - Most of our staff have worked here for years and know exactly how to run a wedding seamlessly - My team are one of the things I am most proud of as they genuinely care about each and every couple we host!
