We got married at Lemore Manor in September 2018.
We cannot rate Lemore Manor, its owners and their excellent staff highly enough – this venue and all those who helped us were a dream and they truly exceeded our expectations.
Top highlights for us were:
1. The venue - on the day I went to view this beautiful place after nearly 4 months of searching, I received a warm welcome and tour of the grounds and facilities. Everything here is top notch and works well for a wide range of weddings ceremony and reception styles. Great care is also taken to maintain the venue and keep it fresh (i.e. removing scuff marks from other events and keeping it clean) – what you see on the website is truly what you get unlike a lot of other wedding venues I had gone to see where the décor was faded and shabby despite their pictures on their websites. You can tell this venue truly wants you to have the best of the best.
2. The People at Lemore Manor – Where do I begin? Margaret (one of the owners) is a true gem. She was very responsive over our many weeks of communication before I actually visited the venue. Our wedding co-ordinator Emma was very professional, patient and easy to work with. She kept us on track and was super hands-on on the day meaning I had nothing to worry about as a bride and I was able to stay focused with getting ready in the hen house knowing all was in hand.
Hubby and I would like to thank everyone at Lemore that made our day the success that it was – even though its been months since the wedding, we are still getting calls from friends and family as to what a lovely day it was. We knew it would go well as we had trust in you, but honestly, we were blown away ourselves on the day.
3. The Food – simply sumptuous! We had a wide range to choose from and the taste and presentation was top notch! As Africans, we were a little worried breaking with tradition by offering British food, but Lemore took the time to understand what we would need to make it ok for all our guests and did not disappoint. Dietary requirements were also catered for. Others giving reviews via Google have also recommended the pizza as evening food. That is what we went for and the station was professionally set up with a wide range of toppings. It was also made on the spot and guests loved it. So did we – I had mine with extra chilli ☺
4. The Bedrooms – When you have guests stay over, you want to make sure they are in a comfortable space especially as a lot of our guests were travelling from afar and some had children. The rooms at Lemore are truly worth it – 5* hotel standard: very clean, high thread count linen, comfortable beds and loads of space especially for those who may have children with them. Guests who stayed over absolutely loved it and slept very comfortably. We also loved our room and felt refreshed the morning after. The breakfast served the morning after was just right with fresh ingredients – not too heavy but substantial enough to keep you going.
We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone at Lemore Manor.
It is our hope and dream that we can visit again and maybe even have another significant celebration at this venue.
A and B xx
