Cuisine- We work closely with Bon Appetit SW Ltd, a fabulous catering team who have access to the estate’s secret vegetable and herb garden, bringing fresh ingredients straight from the ground to your plate. With award winning West Country produce on our doorstep we are able to offer you a bespoke menu service as well as our exclusive mouth watering menus.
Grounds and Pergola- Set within 100 acres of stunning parkland at the heart of a sprawling 2,000 estate you and your guests are welcome to embrace the relaxation of country life. Drive up the Sweet Chestnut lines drive and you find yourself surrounded with lakes, woodlands, walnut groves, orchards and wildlife in abundance you will not be short of photographic opportunities. Our beautiful Pergola can seat up to 220 and is covered with scented climbing plants such as wisteria jasmine and roses. At dusk the chimineas and fairy lights are lit adding a touch of magic to an already atmospheric setting.

Come off at M5 Junction 24, follow signs towards North Petherton. Go through the village of North Petherton, past the big church on the left and just before the large playing fields on the left turn left into Newton Road towards North Newton (sign posted for Canal side Car parking & Maunsel House).
Travel 1½ miles, crossing over the motorway bridge and into the village of North Newton.
Pass the school and the Harvest Moon pub on your left and turn left at the brown sign to Maunsel. Do not turn off the road until you see a red and white lodge next to the large iron gates on the left.
Head up the driveway and park.
There is a regular service from London Paddington to Taunton mainline station. The Journey takes less than 2hrs. Maunsel House is approximately 6 miles from the station. Taxi are available at the station.
Exeter International Airports is 40 miles away and Bristol International Airports is only 30 miles.
Helicopter landing sites are available in the grounds of Maunsel House by Prior arrangement.
