Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
The beautiful Exeter Cathedral, the blossom trees in Southernhay gardens and of course the stunning Exeter quayside which is just a short walk away!
The roman wall which is just outside of our Seymour suite is always great in adding a bit of history to your photos! Brides and grooms are always excited to see it too.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
I once worked on a wedding where every name card had a little polaroid attached to it with a picture of the guest and either the bride or groom which I thought was particularly cool!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Remember it's your day! It's what matters to you and what you want which should be included in the wedding. Venues are working with you not against you so don't be afraid to ask. There's always a compromise they can come to if you want something in particular included.
Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.
The staff and how flexible they are in trying to make a bride and groom's big day special to them!
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Contemporary, blank canvas, stylish, relaxed and historical.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
No, not yet. However, every bride and groom should be treated like a celebrity on their wedding day!
What’s your favourite canapé?
We are the only venue in Exeter city centre which has an exclusive outdoor terrace area, which is great for bbqs but also blessings, its also covered in fairy lights!
