Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We had Josh Curnow play at our venue for a recent wedding and the bride and groom were flown to the barn by helicopter.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy your wedding day! Nerves are always to be expected at a wedding, the long build up to the event, the planning, pre-organising, and trying to make the budget stretch! But remember all that hard work has finished. There's no more you can do to perfect things, so relax, take each moment as it comes and relish the day in all its glory! The day will fly by, so try and take away as many happy memories of it as you can.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We have a old wooden palette which have strings of lights and little pegs on, waiting for the couples personal photos to be hung on. These are always so wonderful to see, and of course the emotional speeches!
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have many! But we love the backdrop of the rustic barn and the we also have a stone bench outside which offers a beautiful setting.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Josh Curnow
What’s your favourite canapé?
Parma ham wrapped asparagus, or mange tout wrapped prawns with a squeeze of fresh lemon!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The whole barn was hand-built by my husband and son along with help from friends and family and every part of it is unique.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are a totally family run enterprise, we pride ourselves on personal tailor made weddings with that extra personal touch. As a venue, we strive to deliver the best experience possible to our clients.
