FAQ
(10)

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

Couldn't possibly pick one...every single wedding is special in it's own way, whether its a big traditional white wedding or a civil partnership, an extravagant Asian reception or a Greek family wedding, each and every one of our families are unique and truly individual to us.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't panic!!!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

With over 30 years in the wedding industry there are simply too many to mention! A few would include guests being flown in from aboard to surprise the happy couple (shed some tears with that one!), the Groom singing to the Bride (a definite tear jerker!) the first few steps down the aisle after a serious back injury, (every guest shed tears with that one!) and of course the numerous emotional first dances.

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Unique and Quirky, Professional and Attentive and "Special" in the good sense of special!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

The water fountain in the central Courtyard Garden

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Of course but we can't tell you who.......

What’s your favourite canapé?

Would be a complete toss up between "Warm Leek and Goats Cheese Tarts" which just melt in your mouth or "Mini Burgers with Caramelised Red Onion Relish", so tasty that you can't resist going back time and time again.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Pizza!! isn't that everyone's favourite treat?

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Over 800 British Motorcycles would be most peoples answer but mine would be Bob, our incredibly handsome peacock. Bob has visited us each each for as long as we can remember, to find his mate before disappearing off home again. Back in 2018 he decided to stay and has been strutting his stuff and shaking his tail feathers ever since, although still hasn't found his mate.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

The people. Everyone here has hospitality running through them like a stick of rock. We were all born to work in this Industry and are lucky to be at such an amazing venue.
