Nymans

We held our ceremony in August 2018 in the beautiful Sunk Garden at Nymans, The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the National Trust site feels so much more special than any other venue we looked at in Sussex. Sophie was absolutely fantastic from the moment we first showed interest in Nymans through to the hug and well wishes she gave us as we left on our way to the reception. Having Sophie was like having our own personal wedding planner. She is passionate, knowledgeable and ensured our day ran without a hitch! With 7 years experience working at Nymans I felt completely safe in her hands. Thank you to Sophie and the Nymans team.

Our wedding at Nymans Gardens was perfect. Firstly working with Sophie was a huge weight off of our shoulders. Not only is she lovely to work with she was also helpful, organised and patient with all of our queries during the year of planning to accommodate to our needs. The staff at Nymans were also very kind and helpful to us in the days leading up to the wedding as well as on the day. The location itself, not just as a venue for the ceremony, is just breathtaking with the beautiful gardens and being surrounded in nature. Then you have the stunning architecture of the old building and the walls around the grounds. You will be spoilt for choice on where to take photographs, that is for sure. We were also blessed with the beautiful British sunshine on the day, that combined with the amazing staff at Nymans, overall we would not change a thing about our wedding. Lastly, it also meant much more that we were contributing towards a National Trust garden, especially with it being such a naturally stunning place, it feels good to contribute to its preservation. We will definitely visit Nymans again in the future for a nice day out.

Getting married is the most amazing experience. It is even better when you find somewhere beautiful to hold your ceremony. Nymans was my absolute dream venue; beautiful grounds, buildings and the ability to get married outside. From the very first viewing I knew it was the one. Sophie the Wedding Co-ordinator was friendly, enthusiastic and really helpful. Sophie made sure that we had all the information and guidance we needed throughout the planning and on our special day. There is nothing I could fault about the venue and when we received our photos there are so many beautiful backdrops with the stunning architecture and grounds. I would give Nymans a full 10/10 and would recommend it to anyone.

You helped make wedding planning even more enjoyable. We're so happy we held our wedding at Nymans - it's such a beautiful, romantic and diverse environment which our guests adored.
