The room will be filled with sumptuous scent from luxury candles, with white blooms adorning the two marble mantlepieces and registrars’ tables. Looking for something with more grandeur? Choose our Great Hall with gold details and two stunning chandeliers. Ceremony appointments available at 11am, 1pm and 3pm from £720 inc VAT (£600+VAT). Exclusive Hire weekend ceremonies also still available from £4,200 inc VAT (£3,500+VAT)** We can also offer virtual viewings and 'in-person' viewing appointments at the venue. In-line with Government advice we have hand sanitiser and masks available on entry and will keep a 2 metre distance away whilst showing you around our beautiful building. We are taking bookings for 2021 onwards, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions at all.

The most beautiful wedding venue
The moment we stepped into OGGS, we were adament we had to have our wedding there. And we are so glad we followed through on that decision. Gabrielle, Yvonne and the team at OGGS were so thorough and professional, and made you feel like you were the only couple that mattered. The venue itself was absolutely breathtaking. When our guests stepped into OGGS, they were wowed by the downstairs foyer, and in absolute awe of the Great Hall for dinner. The menu choice was very extensive and very tasty (great portion sizes too!), and dietary requirements were taken very seriously; no request was too big for them. I would highly recommend any couple to give OGGS a go; you will come away with the best memories and photos ever.

Absolutely Amazing!
I cannot recommend One Great George Street enough. It was one of our first wedding venues that my husband and I went to see, and we didn't have to search any further. We were welcomed from the beginning with a wonderful wedding coordinator Gabrielle who remained supportive throughout our engagement and wedding planning, and made everything seem much easier. They even recommended further suppliers which was very useful. The day itself couldn't have gone any better - all the staff including our toastmaster Simon were amazing, and our guests still remember the venue and also the food! Every little bit of detail was considered, and we felt so happy and supported. Thank you!

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

This is really hard for me to do as each wedding is unique in its own way. So many elements can make a great wedding; this could be down to impeccable service, creative theming, a good crowd of people and generally a great atmosphere.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

This one’s simple…Enjoy the experience! It’s really easy to get carried away in the co-ordination and logistic of putting on a wedding and easy to forget to try and enjoy each moment.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

My favourite personal touches have always involved the incorporation of our couples’ personal interests into their special day. As a big film fan, I like the idea of using the titles of favourite films as table names and having a fun and interactive ‘guess the film’ catch phrase quiz on tables as an ice breaker. It’s nice to see the couples’ respective personalities in their wedding.

Personal, stunning, grand, unique and elegant

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

There are so many photogenic spots in the venue from our famous confetti shot where wedding guests are showered with confetti from the Rotunda above to our Great Hall which boasts a stunning painted ceiling and glass chandeliers. My favourite photo spots, though, are our sweetheart balconies on the second floor which are perfect for intimate couple photographs.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Yes, we have had a few…but that would be telling!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Our signature canapé is the Mini Beef Wellington served with horseradish Hollandaise…it is out of this world. Our Chef is a food genius!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Cheese toasties…add a little bit of mustard and a slice of cured ham and you’re onto a winner.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Our Rotunda and domed ceilings; when the venue is dressed for a wedding they are truly breathtaking.

What part of your business are you most proud of?
