Full Description
  • Set on the last south facing slope of the Mendip hills in Somerset, Pennard House is the epitome of dreamy English elegance - a beautiful, family-owned Manor House set in secluded gardens and surrounded by woodlands, meadows and cider orchards. Pennard House offers a variety of unique options, allowing you to tailor make your wedding day and enabling the entire day to be hosted in one exquisite location with no need to drive from place to place. There is a grand licensed room in the house for civil ceremonies, or for outdoor ceremonies a licensed pagoda in the garden. Church weddings can be held in the picturesque C14th village church just a short walk across the lawn. Following the ceremony, guests can enjoy a drinks reception on the large south facing lawn. Complete with rose gardens and Victorian lake, the gardens provide endless photo opportunities. The wedding breakfast and evening festivities are held in the renovated Coach House, an C18th Coach and Stable building with atmospheric dining area, fitted bar, dance floor and intimate seating booths. Couples have complimentary use of the Orchard Room bridal suite in the house, while further guests can also be accommodated either in grand bedrooms or for the more adventurous, in 16ft luxury tipi's in the grounds.
