Quantock Lakes is an award-winning barn wedding venue hidden in 200 acres of Somerset countryside. Hosting wedding celebrations for over a decade with 80 to 200 day-guests and additional evening-guest capacity. With luxury accommodation to enjoy the night before and the night of your wedding sleeping between 26 and 50 guests.
Quantock Lakes has a certain magic when it comes to bringing people together with wonderful surprises around each corner and spectacular sunsets across the lakes and nearby Quantock hills.
The romantic stone barn conversion is the most popular space for ceremonies bringing a feeling of intimacy with rustic beams, fairy lights and a beautiful fireplace with a log burner for chilly evenings.
The larger barn has been designed and built by the family of Quantock Lakes and is perfect for larger ceremonies with impressively high ceilings, walk-in inglenook fireplace and an abundance of views across the lakes.
For 2021, there will be an option to marry outside on the lakes under the shelter of a beautiful pagoda for your waterside ceremony.
For a wedding breakfast to remember you and your guests will enjoy the newest part of the venue boasting panoramic views across the lakes and Somerset hills and meadows. This unique eating space is lined with elegant drapes with giant chandeliers and is new for April 2019.
Around the main venue, there are beautiful lawns and meadows where you will find a path leading to the famous ancient oak tree. By night, the oak tree and lakes are lit to provide more magic as the night draws in with marshmallows to toast around the fire pit.
Quantock Lakes do not offer back to back weddings, this means that couples receive more of a personal experience and enjoy a long-lasting wedding experience with precious set up time in the venue, the day before your celebrations.
Wedding days at Quantock Lakes are Saturdays, Thursdays and some Tuesdays.
