COVID-19 Update
Raemoir House is open for enquiries and appointments as well as for events as allowed under prevailing Government guidance. There has been a significant increase in enquiries, whether for private/family bookings or weddings, and as the Government has provided a temporary VAT rate to hospitality businesses of 5% we have elected to pass this on to clients where event contracts are signed off before 12th January 2021. In the first instance please contact us on 01330 824884 or events@raemoir.com with your event details for a "DIY quote" and a 3D Tour of Raemoir so you can see what is on offer from the comfort of your own homes, thereafter we can arrange an appointment to come and have a chat and a glass of bubbles! In the meantime stay safe. The Team at Raemoir

Full Description
There is one aspect of the special day for which many brides have a shared vision – the venue. Raemoir House is unique in that not only do you have exclusive use of the House and Estate. The House is provided fully staffed 24/7 who provide for all your requirements and will assist in creating a truly memorable and bespoke experience. Situated just 30 minutes from Aberdeen in the heart of rural Royal Deeside, Raemoir is a beautiful traditional Georgian house that provides the perfect backdrop for a fairytale wedding. Tucked away at the end of an extensive tree-lined drive, the first impression is one of grandeur, but step over the threshold and it feels just like home, which is exactly how owners Neil and Julie Rae encourage you to think. The House literally becomes your personal country retreat for your stay. From the wood-panelled sitting room with oversized armchairs and roaring open fire to the Oval Ballroom with its flock velvet wall coverings and sweeping views of the grounds outside, your event can be tailored to suit you and your guests. Weddings are the culmination of a lifetime of dreams and wishes rolled into one momentous event. Planning one can seem a daunting task at first, but take the time to visit to Raemoir and you may find that realising your vision is just a tree-lined drive away.

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Neil Rae
At Raemoir, when planning your wedding, we encourage you to consider the house as if it were your own. Many venues have a fixed format for weddings and find it difficult to offer anything else, we want yours to be as personal as possible so we work with every bride individually to deliver your wedding, not ours! The last one, the one before that, and the one before that! The next one, the one after....they are all the best weddings as they are yours! We don't give you our wedding, we give you yours.

Talk to us first! We will happily discuss your day and advise on all the little bits that you may not have thought about to make sure everything runs as planned and is as relaxed as possible.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

The bride's took her horse to the venue to get some post-Ceremony photographs. What she didn't know was when she was getting married we took her horse inside the house to greet her as she came out of the Ceremony room. Talk about tears of surprise....

The Woodland Cathedral; under the 200 year old Wellingtonia tree or at the top of the hill behind the hotel with the fabulous panorama of the surrounding countryside in the background
