Runa Farm

From the moment we booked runa farm we were blown away by Jenna our wedding coordinator who kept in constant contact and answered all my questions along the way never making me feel silly for asking anything odd like for a pic of the basic table setting so I could visualise the table decor better. Skip to the weeks leading up when I asked the smithy for a special order something not on the pub menu when Joshua helped us put this together for food in the farmhouse the night before. Pizzas chips and garlic bread for 12 people there was so much food it was delicious and we had loads left over - the servers were fab and respectful as we had only just starting taking our stuff inside. The farmhouse is just fab sleeping 12 people easily and 2 dogs - it was such a special night having all my favourite people in one place while my husband and his best man had rooms in the hotel - also stunning by the way. Around 8pm I realised I hadn’t heard from my photographers in a few days so messaged again only to find out nothing was going though number was disconnected. I started to share my concerns with my family and others started looking seemed like it was all a big scam these women do. My brother in law went to reception (and I’m only sorry I didn’t get her name) she started to see if she could do anything to help - within half an hour one of the staff a budding photographer Tom came to our rescue on his day off between studio time came and took some pics. He was showing us along the way some of the shots he had gotten and honestly couldn’t have asked for more we are so thankful to him for saving the day. I’d also like to shout out to our master of ceremonies Ian - what a man! So friendly and lovely we were laughing with him and it just added to our day how special Runa farm really is. There were a few ladies I unfortunately did not get their names one was serving short hair with red in, one did our final walk round (possibly her name was eve or Ava) and the lady that was with Ian coordinating our day - she was so kind to my 6 year old nephew who struggled at times with his emotions and had to sit down in the other room during speeches as it was too much she took care of him. The whole place is just magical if you love that boho chic style like us and the food is fantastic - everyone commented it was the best wedding food they had ever had.

We booked our wedding at Runa Farm last May and from the first viewing we were blown away with the venue and the apartment group. From the planning stages to checking out after the wedding, everything was seamless and perfect. We used the farm house the night before which was well equipped and such a gorgeous place to get ready. It’s such a relaxing environment to calm any nerves! The day its self was managed by Emma, who had initially shown us around, and she went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. She took away any stresses or worries I had straight away. Ian was our master of ceremonies and he was great, nothing was too much to ask and he was great with our boys. The serving and waiting staff were fab but special mention to Lewis who was there from the night before until we checked out the day after, he was very helpful and friendly, an asset to the venue. The only negative I have is that the day is over and we can’t do it again! I would recommend Runa to anyone looking for a well run, organised, stress free wedding in an outstanding location and beautiful venue!

I’m not sure I have enough words to describe just how utterly perfect our day was! Every single staff member was insanely attentive and clearly wanted to make sure our big day was perfect. From the first step into Runa Farm we were looked after. We were fairly certain from the images online that it was the wedding venue for us but seeing it in person was just another level! It’s the perfect mix of rustic and elegant and the ceremony room is just dreamy! Our wedding coordinator Jenna was incredible throughout the whole process and I don’t think she could have made us both feel any more confident about everything if she’d tried. Her communication was amazing and everyone went above and beyond accommodating any requests that we had. We could tell that we’d chose the right venue and company. Each and every part of our day ran perfectly and that was all down to the staff. All of the waiters/waitresses and bar staff were so lovely and the bar staff especially made us feel super special throughout the day. The food was also incredible! Emma who was at reception on arrival started off the few days perfectly and set the tone making us feel really excited. Our meal on the evening before with our family and friends was also lovely in the Smithy. Becca our wedding manager made us feel at ease from the get go during our meeting the night before. She didn’t miss a single detail and was happy to make any tiny changes that we needed. On the day she was so relaxed which wore off on me, my husband and the rest of the bridal party. Even though she was really laid back, I could tell she was also amazing at her job and was going to make sure all the details were spot on. A special mention has to go to Ian the MOC on our day. Ian was actually at our food tasting evening back in December, so it was lovely to see his face again. His aura just makes you feel instantly at ease and you can tell he truly loves what he does. Myself and my husband could rave about him all day long, he looked after us like we were royalty. My Mum also had so many good things to say about Ian. He really made her feel comfortable and helped her whenever needed. Ian is the perfect MOC and he is absolutely amazing in this role. From start to finish our day was just a dream and we can’t thank everyone enough!

All of my guests took the time to tell me how beautiful they thought runa farm is!! It was the perfect venue for my rocker style wedding. The staff were amazing and made the whole day effortless and I think they were just as excited as I was! Massive thanks to runa farm and co, I can't wait to be able to attend a wedding here as a guest!!

We had the most amazing day and best wedding ever at Runa Farm! From the start, the whole team were incredible, and our wedding coordinator Jenna was helpful, kind and attentive to everything we needed/wanted. The venue was everything we could have hoped for, from the decor, service, rooms and food, it was all perfect. Major shoutout to our wedding manager on the day, Emma, and out MC Ian, who were utterly perfect and made the day go off without a hitch. Couldn't fault a single thing they did, they went above and beyond to make it the most stress free wedding day for us both. 10000% would recommend anyone to get married here, you won't be dissapointed, and all our guests commented on how incredible the venue and staff were! We went to a wedding and it was a great place for it, clean, tidy and the staff were very welcoming nothing was a problem for them. The marriage service room was great with a sweeping set of stairs for the wedding party to descend and walk up the Isle to the marriage service. Then, there is the bar area and a room with the dance floor with area for the group and/or the DJ. There's a nice covered area outside where people can relax and smoke if so wish. On the whole, I'd definitely recommend!
