Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
My Daughter's! A 'busman's holiday' for me, but with a Vintage Bristol Bus transporting from Church to Barn; Singing Waiters performing during the meal, Fantastic Dance Band and the finale of 2 motorised gliders lit up with LED lights and expelling fireworks in 'formation'. or was it when the Army Parachute Display Team 'dropped in' and the Groom took the Salute!!! or the fish & chip wagon and whippy ice-cream van serving guests in the yard? or the young couple during COVID who loved DISNEY and had EVERYTHING Disney and suddenly brought their Wedding forward a week to comply with the 30 Guests?!!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't over complicate things. Guests are there to enjoy your Day so choose what you want, as you wont be able to please everybody and it is 'Your Day'! Spend the money on what is important to you and get friends and family to help in the run up and on the day to make things personal and special for you.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We have a 'Memory Wall' made up of old wooden wine boxes, which folk either put photos of friends and family no longer with us or aren't able to make the Day.
