Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We are so lucky to have such a striking building, our black & white quatrefoiled Hall is a photographer's dream. There are also several gorgeous spots in our grounds - the manicured front lawn, the rose gardens & the pretty festoon lit courtyard to name a few! Don't worry if the weather takes a turn for the worse, our oak panelled 14th century rooms will make a perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Your guests can follow up the most fantastic day in our 700 year old Hall, in our luxurious Shepherd's Hut Hamlet (they best night's sleep they'll ever have!)
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Samlesbury Hall is a registered charity (no 526052), meaning that any money we make goes straight back into the Hall to ensure it is kept open for future generations. We have been hosting weddings for over 50 years and we have seen families grow as they come back to visit! The weddings we host are vital in keeping our historic Hall open, but there's nothing we love more!
