For a wedding that seamlessly blends the best of an indoor and outdoor setting, look no further than picturesque Sandhole Oak Barn, a fabulous wedding venue that offers charm and style in the heart of Cheshire.
In addition to the striking Medieval-inspired oak beamed barn, there is a decked veranda, a stunning Oak Clock Tower which is licensed for civil ceremonies, and a cosy Small Barn.
Built to a traditional design using the highest quality workmanship and materials, Sandhole Oak Barn is a stunning example of a period barn that has been given a contemporary and luxurious feel. Inspired by medieval times, the exterior of the barn is understated yet charming. Heavy oak beams, wrought iron cartwheel chandeliers and wall lights combine with underfloor heating and full length windows to ensure a warm, welcoming and modern space that makes the most of its stunning views and proximity to nature. Four pairs of French doors open out onto a large decked veranda area that overlooks a serene lake and peaceful Cheshire pastureland, and provides the perfect setting for a post ceremony champagne reception and the first opportunity for the new bride and groom to mingle with guests.
Separate from the Oak Barn, Sandhole’s Small Barn provides a great place to welcome guests, host children who want to stretch their legs or elderly guests who wish to relax for a while. It’s also ideal for winding down before retiring to bed once the celebrations have finished in the Oak Barn.
A stylish Oak Clock Tower can be found next to the veranda. Positioned between the lake and rolling countryside, it is highly sought after for a romantic outdoor exchange of vows during the spring and summer. With its beautiful oak frame, the tower is a striking addition to Sandhole Barn and a tranquil spot for couples to capture a few special moments together.
Extensive overnight accommodation is also available on-site through the separate Sandhole Farm B&B.
