Full Description
The historic Manor House, belonging to the National Trust, with the Victorian conservatory is ideal for fully licensed marriage ceremonies and wedding receptions. Wedding ceremonies can be held in the beautiful Grand Hall, or outside within the grounds. The Grand Hall can accommodate up to 130 people and the beautiful conservatory acts as a focal point for canape receptions. The extensive grounds, also featuring forest areas and an ornamental garden, offer a number of beautiful spots for a luxury marquee ideal for large parties or more intimate gatherings. There are also two beautiful churches in the village, St. Mary’s (COE) and St. Richard’s (RC), for those who wish to have a blessing or a church wedding.

Slindon House showcase
I made the horrendous error of putting this feature (page 60) together right before lunch one afternoon, and the array of mouthwatering wedding breakfasts on display really made my tummy rumble! Kelly Andrews - Senior Editor

Brilliant food
Dear Susan, A week has past since our wedding and we have had some time to relax, tidy and sort things...there’s still a lot to do but it’s better now in our home. We wanted to email to say a massive thank you for your time and support leading up to our wedding and then on the day itself. Everyone said you made the food was brilliant. You help make Hannah and my day the day we wanted and a day to remember. Please pass our thanks onto Joseph and the rest of the staff too as they were also very helpful. Thank you for everything, Kevin & Hannah

Professional service
Dear Sue, Thank you so much for the wedding catering on Saturday. I was particularly impressed by the quantity and quality of your staff, especially the bar which was very well run, always ready and able to help guests. Your service was timely, unobtrusive and professional and I know that our guests enjoyed the food. It was a wonderful wedding and we so enjoyed the day. Kind regards, Carole

Favourite canapes
Dear Susan, Thank you so much for all of your expertise and care in insuring our wedding went smoothly. Everyone was very complimentary about the food and the venue. I have to confess my favourites were the canapes, superb flavour and a little unusual to the norm, all very delicious. Hope the rest of the wedding season goes well for you, kind regards, Susanne

Best wedding
Dear Susan I just wanted to say a huge `thank you’ for Saturday. We have had loads of comments about the food and Charlie’s aunt – who is in her 80s and been to a lot of weddings – said it was the best she had ever had. I hope you were able to have a bit of a rest on Sunday – we did as Andy’s family organised a big barbecue. With best wishes, Sarah
