Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Vicky and Chris' wedding was an absolute cracker! Vicky described herself as "colour phobic and impossible to please". But contrary to her bold statement, we set to work on making the day exactly what she wanted. The barn looked incredible with lots of green foliage, black chalkboard notes and festoon lighting inside and out. Oversized white balloons matched the festoon bulbs, and created space on the tables for a sharing-platter-style three course meal. The weather played nice, so after the ceremony, all guests enjoyed the hay bales scattered outside, deck chairs and lawn area while Chris and Vicky had some amazing photos taken in the garden. As the sun set, the fire pit was lit for toasting marshmallows and the street food vans turned up. And this is when the bucking bronco came to full use! Eventually the great DJ got people back in the barn for a dance off, followed by a full dance floor until the very end of the night.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't book your civil ceremony too early in the day. Trying to keep your guests entertained for 13 hours, and then expect them to party till the very end, can be really hard! (2pm is a perfect time for a civil ceremony)

Personalised menus, in a unique font created for that particular wedding, with thank-yous and talking points covered in one go.

Less traditional: the driveway - it's stunning! More traditional: the rose garden.

We've had an F1 driver, Channel 4 TV personality and Morgan Freeman attend events at the venue.

Smoked salmon blini.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Wood fired pizza, straight from the oven.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
An on-site, authentic forest rally course. We can book passenger rides for your guests during the drinks reception! (Needless to say perhaps, but unless specifically requested, the rally cars will not be running on your wedding day!)
