Strawberry Hill House is available for exclusive hire for you and your guests with the undivided attention of our experienced team. We don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to weddings, each and every element is designed specifically to suit you for a day that fulfils your personal requirements. For those looking to marry with us, we have a licence for civil ceremonies and partnerships for up to 100 guests in the grand Gallery, a spacious and naturally lit room with vaulted ceilings, golden canopies and crimson damask. The rest of the state apartments and expansive lawns offer ample opportunities to capture photographs and moments to remember. Following your ceremony, enjoy a drinks reception on the lawn or in the Great Parlour overlooking the gardens whilst we prepare the Gallery for your wedding breakfast. Continue to enjoy the House for drinks, dancing and merriment throughout the night. A tailored menu is prepared for each and every couple using the finest, fresh and local ingredients. Let us wow you with our seasonal menus and work with you to create your own, all cooked by our incredible Michelin trained head chef! Our event on the 14th.
Rachel and I cannot thank you enough for all your help which went a long way to making it the success it was. Your attention to all details from arrival to departure was excellent, and the fact that you opened up all the rooms for our guests to enjoy the history of the House made the event even more enjoyable. There was not one person that did not say how they thoroughly enjoyed my celebration. The canapes and drinks at the reception on arrival of the guests were wonderful. The setting for the luncheon was beautiful, and though we may have chosen the menu for the day, the congratulations I received should be directed to you for the excellence in their preparation and serving. The whole atmosphere was enchanting and we are certain added to the appreciation of all our guests. Your staff were very attentive and we would ask you to let them know that their service was much appreciated. Those not seen, in the kitchen, are not to be forgotten and are congratulated on their efforts to make everything so perfect. There was a mixture of friends and families but our apprehension leading up to the event was unnecessary, as they all fitted in so well, we immediately felt at ease and could ourselves enjoy the event to the full. Everybody showed their appreciation. It was a perfect event in a wonderful surrounding, with the service you so well provided. Our congratulations go to you. Thank you so much for all your kindness. Meg and I were delighted with Saturday’s celebration – it was a wonderful event and everybody commented on the wonderful food and excellent, attentive service.
