Our Library is cosy and homely, providing an ideal space for smaller ceremonies, licensed for up to 24 guests. The Signet Room is our elegant dining room, and is licensed for up to 110 guests. This room certainly has the wow factor for your big day and can be used for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and even your evening reception, where live bands and/or DJ's are welcome. Prefer to be outside? Make the most of our picturesque riverside location with an outdoor wedding ceremony in our beautiful flower-filled gardens. We will provide the red carpet and chairs for your special day, followed by a drinks reception. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
There are too many but a moment that really stands out is the groom secretly hiring a piper to play the bag pipes as the bride walked down the aisle, she had no idea about it until about 30 seconds before she walked down the aisle. What made it even more special is that it was the same piper that just happened to be playing nearby when they got engaged up in Scotland who took a few photo’s for them, the groom took his contact details then without the bride knowing! Either this or a different groom hiring singing waiters which not even the bride knew about, they blended in with our staff for the 1st half of the meal and at the end they burst into song, created a fantastic atmosphere and had everyone on their feet dancing and singing along.
