The hire fee includes barn hire for the two days prior to your wedding for setup. Also included in the hire fee is the below:
-Tables - to seat up to 150
-Electricity/lighting
-Loos
-Kitchenette area
-An abundance of outside spaces
-Car parking paddock
We do have a large outside space for activities such as welcome drinks, lawn games and ceremonies.
We are a dry hire barn and as such do not offer catering, however, we have some fab local preferred suppliers who would be delighted to provide further information should you wish.
We are able to support a ceremony at the barn but we do not have a licence to make it official, so this would have to be done before or after

Full Description
Bespoke country weddings with a personal touch. Templars Weddings have been holding weddings on the Parry family farm in Berkshire for over 10 years. The unusual venue; glade, meadow, garden or barn, give the perfect wedding reception atmosphere. We really get to know the families that hire our beautiful barn and we love to be as considerate as possible to enable your event to be just they way you want it. We allow for you to use Suppliers of your choice but also come with a wealth of experience and a comprehensive list of preferred suppliers to help you along the way should you need it. Templar’s barn seats up to 120 people and has additional space for the dance floor which can be positioned apart from the main area allowing livelier guests to dance the night away, while those who choose to chat in peace, may do so comfortably with background music. There are also additional outside areas which could allow for a marquee and therefore enabling our venue to accommodate larger numbers if necessary. The Barn may be arranged to allow pre-dinner drinks to be held outside in the evening sun. Great barn
Great looking venue when all set up for your big day. Nice big tables, plenty of space to set up how you want it and large area for a good old boogie.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
One of the best weddings held at Templars was Mr & Mrs Dando in the summer of 2019. This couple transformed the venue with simple greenery, fairy lights, trestle table dining and also built their own bar. They collected disco balls for the dance floor area and they whole set up from start to finish was beautiful. We have added their day to our highlights on our Instagram page.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make it about you. So many couples get influenced by what their family would like and try to keep so many people happy for fear of upsetting someone but remember its your wedding, its your special day.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There is so much outdoor space at Templars but my personal favourites are in the outside in the walled garden or in the fields at sunset.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
No celebrities that we know of however Will Young and his family used to live a stones throw away.
