That Amazing Place

Wow I don’t know where to begin. We had our wedding at “That Amazing Place” on 3rd Feb and what a day it was! Angie, Paul and the rest of the team made sure we got the day we had always wanted. Everything run smoothly and nothing was a problem for them. They all went above and beyond along with the help of all our other suppliers. This venue will forever hold a special part in our hearts and we would love to hold a future event at this amazing venue.

My partner and i viewed 'That Amazing Place' in April and quickly fell in love with the idea of having our special day here. We placed our deposit and chose the day we wanted and set the date. Having the venue be pet friendly for my partner to bring her family dog along for the special day brought the whole 'family is more than just people' vibe to life. Fast forward to the big day and oh my, the staff couldn't have done more for us if they tried. The wedding cottage that the bridesmaids had the night before was amazing, with mirrors for all to use to get ready in and spacious rooms for all. Sleeping 8 of them at most its ready for the biggest of weddings. The rooms were booked for guests from the day in the main building and these too were more than plentiful. the majority of them having an en-suite available. The bridal suite for the happily married couple was spacious yet cosy, and set back from the main house. With our day being in the middle of summer we had the luxury of being outside and by the lake, but had the weather of been against us being inside would have been equally stunning. We had a photographer who was familiar with the venue and we cannot wait to see how they captured our day. Breakfast the following day was delicious too, with tea, coffee and juices available, alongside fresh to order bacon, egg or sausage toasties. We cannot thank the staff enough for all that they did for our day, even going as far as allowing us to have our gender reveal too.

We got married at TAP on the 12th August 2023 and to say it was the most special day of our lives would be an understatement. Equally, it would be an understatement to say what a vital role Angie, her team and the beautiful venue played in making our day so special! From the day that we booked the venue Angie was consistently and promptly on hand to answer all of the questions that we had (a lot!). Equally, Angie was a huge support in making sure that we were checking off everything we needed for our big day in a timely and effective manner. The venue really is unbelievably beautiful. Photos of the venue look incredible but you really have to see it for yourself to appreciate how spectacular it is. Our guests were completely amazed at how beautiful the venue was and we have had many, many comments saying that it was the best wedding that they have ever attended. When the day did arrive it ran absolutely seamlessly – this was the case even when our speeches ran over by a good 40 minutes due to us massively underestimating how long our top table would speak for! You really would not have noticed that this caused any problems at all for the smooth running of the day. Equally, Angie acted as our toastmaster and our guests mirrored our opinion that there was complete clarity in how the day was run. Moreover, on the day Angie set both of us at complete ease at the very outset and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Another example of how accommodating and seamless the TAP operation is came when the weather was raining for most of the morning therefore jeopardising our dream of an outdoor ceremony. However, Angie and the team set the venue up half outside and half inside to give us the very best opportunity that, if the weather gave us a short relief, they were positioned to make sure that we could setup outside quickly. Fortunately for us, we did get that break in the weather and the ceremony area was setup perfectly for our outdoor ceremony. This is just shows Angie and the team’s willingness to go the extra mile but was a consistent theme throughout. We also booked the wedding cottage for the evening before the wedding and that was such a brilliant choice. The space is perfect for the evening before your big day – it is a beautiful cottage with plenty of space (including a beautiful garden for our little dog who was at our big day) and perfectly positioned to make the morning of the wedding completely stress free. We could not recommend That Amazing Place highly enough – when you book TAP you don’t only get a beautiful venue but also a toastmaster, wedding co-ordinator, exceptional planners, even someone to fix your dress / flowers and so, so much more. We got married here on Saturday 15th July and we wanted to thank TAP for making the day so special for us! It was love at first sight as this was the first venue we saw and nothing could compare to it since. The venue is dog friendly which was a huge plus since we have two fur babies which we wanted to include on our day. They have the most beautiful grounds with a lake so you can get married in an outside setting with the beautiful trees and lake as your backdrop. We were also impressed with the rooms within the venue where our guests could stay the night. I also stayed at the wedding lodge the night before with my bridesmaids so we could relax and have an amazing pre wedding celebration. The rooms were spacious and the cottage was fantastic. Huge garden and outside space and an open plan kitchen diner where we spent most of our time. Angie, Louise and the owner Paul couldn’t have been more helpful. We were overwhelmed with gratitude. Angie dealt with my million questions efficiently every time and nothing was too much to ask. We were so worried about getting married outside as the weather was not looking great but in the end it turned out to be absolutely fine. Everything ran smoothly on the day and it was an amazing feeling to have such a supportive team behind us. All our guests were blown away by the venue, food and service. I would highly recommend choosing TAP for your special day. The only regret we have is that it ended so quickly and we would happily do it all over again.

We had our wedding in That Amazing Place and it was a wonderful day. The venue is stunning, all the rooms are spacious and well equipped. Angie, Louise and all the staff are very friendly, helpful, organised and experienced, the doggos are super cute. We liked everything there! Could also recommend booking the wedding lodge for the night before, it has really comfortable rooms, a big kitchen and getting-ready rooms, so the wedding morning can be less stressful. 10/10 would get married here again! ;)
