Welcome to the historic Brigands Inn, Mallwyd. This 15th Century Coaching Inn has long offered guests a beautiful venue in a picturesque landscape. Today it makes an ideal wedding venue, with all that you need to offer comfortable, welcoming place for your guests to enjoy. We are a licensed venue for Civil Ceremonies, as well as being within a short walk of a beautiful little church. We can also host your wedding reception, through to full evening entertainment, sumptuous accommodation and fine catering for your wedding party. The traditional Inn's mix of exposed beams, feature fireplaces and charming character also provide a photogenic backdrop to treasure your memories of a very special day.

Ruby Wedding Stay

We booked into the Inn for three nights as part of our Ruby Wedding celebrations. From the moment we walked in the owners and staff could not have been more accommodating to us. Our daughter had phoned ahead and arranged for a bottle of 'fizz' to be put in the room. The room itself was very comfortable with great views over the surrounding hills. The evening meals were excellent, local produce cooked very well and the breakfasts had variety.

Wedding venue with wow factor

We recently held our wedding party here and I must say we could not have chose a better venue. It is a beautiful place steeped in history and has the ‘wow’ factor! All our guests had a fantastic time. We had a buffet and the food was amazing. They catered for vegan and gluten free and children It was all fresh produce with amazing tit bits that you wouldn’t normally find at a buffet. Again the wow factor! Our room was spotless and in the morning the breakfast was full on with a great selection.

Really lovely evening.

We came here yesterday evening with friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and could not have asked for anything better.The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and there was not one single thing not to like about our meals and desserts, both having been excellently prepared and presented, and more than enough to eat. Plenty of locals there too providing a very pleasant atmosphere. After our experience, we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone and will certainly return there again wh
