Full Description
  • Welcome to The Crown & Thistle in Abingdon. Dating from around 1605, The Crown & Thistle is a meandering 400-year-old grade II listed coaching inn - one that's been immaculately refurbished for 21st century tastes. Our boutique hotel rooms, cosy pub and stylish restaurant are made up of 3 individual buildings, clustered around a listed cobbled courtyard framed by a stunning 200-year-old wisteria. We think you'll agree: it makes for an atmospheric backdrop for anything from a drink with friends to a full-on social event. While this place really is something very special, you don't need a special occasion to enjoy it.
