The Elms, a beautiful Queen Anne manor house, is set in picturesque gardens; providing you with a magical backdrop for your wedding. Our elegant rooms and lounges mean that your wedding day can run seamlessly indoors or outdoors without a hitch! Licensed for civil wedding ceremonies, you’re able to host your entire special day in one place, or just your ceremony alone. Our stunning private rooms can be transformed to create the perfect wedding breakfast room or reception room to suit your style. We are an Exclusive Use Venue, which means the whole of the main house is yours from 12.00 noon until 11.00am the following day. We cater for Weddings up to 70 day guests and accommodate up to 150 evening guests and we’ll work with you to create a smooth and stress free occasion. We offer a unique menu, choice of stunning event rooms and beautiful gardens. The house can be booked for exclusive use, allowing you to utilize all the facilities on offer. From our grounds, to the bar, spa, restaurant and 23 bedrooms. Your guests are also able to use our stunning Spa Facilities on site, though not exclusive to your party, they are able to utilise on both day of check in and check out. Treatments should be booked well in advance of stay, as our Spa is always busy. All food and beverage is supplied in house by the hotel; we do offer corkage on wine at £15.00 per bottle (2018 pricing).

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Start Planning Early! I cannot stress enough the importance of getting stuck in with the wedding planning and preparations as early as you can. Your wedding day might not be for a year or so, or perhaps it’s in just a few months. Whatever your timescale, make good use of it and remember to enjoy yourself along the way.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The pear and apple orchard overlooking the Teme Valley is beautiful - and even more stunning at sunset!

Smoked salmon, pickled cucumber and crème fraiche... mmmm....

A good cheese board.
