Full Description
The Fold is a unique and inspirational space which encourages sustainable living, creativity and health. It offers you an opportunity to have a special wedding celebration that we think is quite different from the norm. Our site is powered by low-carbon solar electric and water systems and our heating is from our own on-site biomass boiler powered by sustainable willow from a plantation in our own grounds. We strive to leave a small impact on the Earth no matter how big the event. Our food is prepared on site by our own chefs who use organic, home grown, seasonal and locally sourced produce to create stunning original menus which are fresh, vibrant and bursting with flavour. We regularly cater for vegetarians and vegans and are happy to prepare menus to suit particular dietary requirements including gluten and sugar free. We offer two unique indoor venues which can be used individually or combined depending on the requirements of your big day. The 18th century Cart House which can seat up to 70 for a sit down wedding breakfast, and The Fold Cafe, set in a beautifully restored 17th century threshing barn which can host up to 120 guests. We also have ample outside spaces in which you can erect marquees and also a covered barn with open sides to host larger parties.
