The Gate benefits from all the modern features needed to host events in a building brimming with charm and character, which we think makes us the perfect wedding venue.
Every individual has their own ideas about what they would like on their wedding day and we appreciate the need to listen and understand your needs. A dedicated and experienced Wedding Co-ordinator will work with you to ensure you are supported from the very first phone call and meeting, all the way through to the time you and your guests head home at the end of your wedding reception.
The Grand Theatre; formerly an upper section of the church; is now a spectacular dining space. The Theatre has a built in dance floor, raised stage, fitted sound desk, PA system, video projector and function bar.
The architectural beauty of the original church provides the perfect romantic setting for the celebration of your marriage. This room will inspire you and your guests in an intimate setting for your special occasion.
Our Cafe Bar still features the original, intricately carved pulpit and elaborate columns alongside a stylish oak bar, adding to the character of this highly functional and versatile wedding venue. The room can seat up to 60 for a meal or can be used as a welcome area for guests as they arrive.
