The main Lensbury building was originally a sports and social club built in 1938 in the style of a gentleman’s country club with oak panelled corridors and a grand staircase. Nowadays, as a modern four star hotel, The Lensbury still retains these original features but more contemporary function suites have also been added with modern lighting décor and furnishings. Capacities range from 30-180 for a sit-down wedding breakfast.
The Lensbury also offers civil ceremonies, so once your guests have arrived at the venue your whole special day is in one place. As there are 171 en-suite bedrooms, you and your guests don’t even need to go home after all the celebrations; they can just retire to their rooms for a relaxing night’s sleep and the next day, after a sumptuous breakfast, make us e of the fabulous array of leisure facilities.
To make planning your wedding as stress-free and enjoyable as possible The Lensbury wedding coordinator, Ros Garry, will be on hand to guide you all the way from your initial visit to the big day itself. She is also The Lensbury’s in-house florist who will create the beautiful table centres included in the wedding package and she can also tailor-make additional
