Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It lasted 3 days, with a pre-wedding family get together in the restaurant for 50 guests the night before the big day; the wedding day itself was a wonderful day filled with celebration; on the 3rd day the happy couple and 100 of their guests had a BBQ outside in the walled garden. It was a wonderful weekend for family and friends to get together.

Book the venue, book the band, and book the place/person you want to marry you first.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We do so many personal touches from transporting a wedding guest to the church when they were left behind to sewing up the brides dress after the bestman stood on it at the dance, even to laundering a bridesmaids dress after an unfortunate drink spillage! We go the extra mile to ensure everyone has an amazing day.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Lots of great photo spots for any photographer, but I particularly liked the one taken on top of the Grand Piano! The steps at the front entrance always make a good spot for multi elevation shots as do the steps into the walled garden.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes, many times.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Blinis or Haggis Bites
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The residents bar can stay open by prior arrangement until 2am

Our ability to give our couples the day they have always wanted.
