The Montagu Arms Hotel

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you did on the lead up to our wedding and a massive thank you to all of the team on the day. The day was absolutely perfect! We couldn’t have asked for more……even the sun came out! It is an absolutely stunning venue and the team are just the best!

Rob and I just wanted to send our sincere thanks to all of you at The Montagu Arms, for making our wedding such a wonderful occasion - We really did have an amazing time with you and the day went exactly as had wanted it to. Thank you so much for all of your organising and support, which allowed the day to go so incredibly smoothly. We also wanted to feedback on the brilliant job that Gerrard did through the wedding breakfast, all the guests commented on how fantastic he was.

The hotel gardens were beautiful and the location was ideal. We wanted a dog friendly wedding venue too and the set up at The Montagu Arms meant our dog could be with us for the whole day. Clara, the wedding coordinator was great on our visit, answering all our questions and being welcoming. The team at The Montagu Arms set the Oakwood room beautifully, and they created a lovely intimate setting for our guests to enjoy the fabulous food.

The character and charm of this New Forest Wedding Venue won us over. The Oakwood room was just what we needed for our small wedding and we loved that our party of 17 could all eat around one table. An added bonus was that it's a dog friendly hotel so our two spaniels were able to stay as well. Clara and the Team are complete professionals and made sure everything went smoothly. we all had breakfast together in the Oakwood room the following morning which was a great way to end the weekend.

We found The Montagu Arms on a wedding website and fell in love with the charming building and classic English gardens. We knew this would be an ideal location in hampshire for a wedding and would make lovely photos for keepsakes. On our visit, Clara was so welcoming and helpful, Do your best to take it all in; take a moment to just watch what is going on around you and observe like a fly on the wall. These people are all here for you to help celebrate the love you and your partner share

Jos grew up around the New Forest and on a visit to see his family we stopped in Beaulieu and walked to Bucklers Hard. I remember thinking what a beautiful place with the added enchantment of donkeys and ponies roaming freely. Of course when we visited the Montagu Arms and met with Clara we were thoroughly impressed, we even made a list of everything we loved about the venue. The whole day seemed to fly by, but particularly memorable parts would be walking into the ceremony room and locking eyes on each other. Other highlights include the confetti tunnel, the speeches, and dancing to Sweet Pea even though we hadn’t practiced and were very aware of everyone looking at us, it’s just such a special song none of that phased us.
