The Plough and Barn at Leigh

The Plough at Leigh helped to create the happiest and most perfect day of our lives. We had always dreamed of a very Kentish country wedding, with a beamy barn, hops, fairy lights, a hog roast, and beautiful country scenery. The Plough at Leigh delivers all and more! Becky, Della and their team were incredibly helpful and made the dreams and plans become reality. We felt very well supported, reassured and treasured throughout. What a special venue! Thank you for everything.

Me & my wife were getting married in Cyprus & wanted to do a reception in the UK a week after for As soon as we met with the team at the Plough & Barn at Leigh, we knew we were in good hands. They were quick to answer any questions we had, as well as helping guide us through the running order of the reception. On the day everything was super organised, the venue itself was stunning, both the barn and the outside. Everyone who attended had a great time and commented on how lovely the venue was.

Me and my wife had a wedding reception at the Plough & Barn at Leigh having been married a week earlier in Cyprus. For whatever reason this type of celebration lead to various issues with other venues. Eventually this led us to The Plough and Barn at Leigh, where as soon as we met the team we knew everything previous had happened for a good reason. They were quick to answer any questions we had, no matter how small. They also helped us greatly in setting a guideline for how the reception could plan out. Once we got to the day of the reception everything ran completely smoothly. The venue itself is stunning, both the barn and the outside garden, where we managed to get some great wedding photos. All guests who attended had a great time and commented on how lovely the venue was. We can't thank the staff at the venue enough for all their help in giving me and my wife such an amazing reception. We will be back very soon for Sunday lunch!

Fantastic venue for your Wedding reception Our daughter Katie and son in law Jason had their wedding reception here in September this year it is an ideal venue we had the barn, gardens and pub the food was excellent having previously chosen from a visit to try out the tester menu and everyone commented on how lovely the food and venue was our compliments to the chef and the staff could not do enough for you and we would highly recommend the plough for your wedding. We had the absolute best day and this was, in large part, to the work of all the staff at The Plough and Barn. From our first meeting with Hazel, to many emails exchanged with Della and Becky, and the commitment of all the staff on the day, we highly appreciated it all. We loved the venue from when we first saw it and our guests are still talking about what a brilliant venue it is. We loved the different areas and the casual but formal feel. It fitted us and what we wanted perfectly! We're so glad the weather was kind to us and we were able to get married outside, and enjoy the garden for so much of the day. The set up in The Barn was exactly as we (eventually) imagined. Della was very patient while we decided upon this! The food was vitally important to us and they delivered exceptionally well. They listened and adjusted to all our requests - the pinchos were delicious, the pork and crackling melted in the mouth, the salads were exactly what we wanted and the cheese went down a storm both on Saturday and for many days afterwards. The Signature Drinks proved very popular so thank you also to Darren for taking the time to get the Caipirihna's right! We are so glad that we chose The Plough and Barn, thank you for making our day so special!
