We have run Venachar Lochside since September 2011 and, in that time, over 80 weddings have been held here – each one unique in their own right!
Sam is our wedding coordinator and events manager at Venachar Lochside. Employed at Venachar since May 2013, Meghan is absolutely dedicated to planning the dream day of every bride and groom
Andrew is also our award winning head chef at Venachar Lochside. He is more than happy to work with you to design your dream menu, from canapés, to your wedding breakfast, cakes and evening buffet. We employ a small, professional and friendly team at Venachar Lochside. We are very proud of the consistently high praise we receive about Team V!

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
The best weddings we have at Venachar were not just because of the beautiful weather, the amazing views or the lovely food. It was the sense of family, friends and happiness that made the days so unique. We like to get to know each couple personally so we can create the perfect wedding day for each individual couple.

Have a vision of the wedding day you want and don't compromise any of your ideas.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One wedding couples mum made their centre pieces out of driftwood logs and carved all their family names as their table names.

Emile Sande is probably the biggest celeb in my eyes however lots of football managers, comedians and actors have also visited.

What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our venue sits right on the loch, you could jump off the decking into the loch.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The hard work and effort that has been put in to get where our business is now. We won "Scotland's Best Restaurant" at the Scottish Baking awards 2014 and "Best Informal Eating Experience" at Visit Scotland's Thistle awards 2015/16.
